These aren't buried in the fine print — they're the ones that actually matter.

Life jackets on when underway
We provide a fitted jacket for every person on board. You don't have to wear it at anchor, but once you're moving it stays on. No exceptions.

No alcohol while operating
Same BAC limit as driving (.08). The operator — whoever has the wheel — stays sober. Passengers can enjoy drinks from the cooler package.

Stay within the approved zone
We'll show you the boundaries on a map at briefing. The zone covers False Creek and the inner harbour — plenty of room to explore.

Call us before you call it a problem
Engine trouble, weather change, something feels off — call us first. We're on the water or nearby all day and can reach you faster than you think.

5 km/h within 30m of shore
BC law. It's also just good manners around kayakers, paddleboarders, and swimmers. False Creek is a shared space.

Head in if conditions change
If winds pick up above 25 km/h or you see lightning, return to the marina. We'll always offer a reschedule — never a debate about a refund.

The radio on board is tuned to Channel 16, monitored by Coast Guard 24/7. In an emergency: activate the life ring, call mayday on Channel 16, then call us. If there's a medical emergency, call 911 first.
